BRENDA CURRIN (Hannah): appeared in such films as In Cold Blood, Reds, Taps, The World According to Garp and the cult classic C.H.U.D. An Obie award winner (My Sister in This House) she has worked extensively in the theater, collaborating on the creation of original works as well as playing roles in many plays.
LILA DUPREE (Amelia, Producer): NYC credits include: Young, The Ars Nova Building and Named, Rising Phoenix Rep (both Lucy Thurber World Premieres); All Over (reading), Linda Gross Theater; A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Abingdon Theatre. Regional: Our Town, Sierra Madre Playhouse; Main Street, Collected Stories, Barefoot in the Park (all with Acadia Repertory Theatre). Film/TV: The Golden Boys, ManchVegas, The Pigpen. RUBY RUIZ (Nursie): is a recent graduate of American Musical and Dramatic Academy. Performances include Anna In The Tropics, The Crucible, Romeo and Juliet, Play Boy of The Western World, The Clean House, and Rocket to The Moon. Last seen in the “Mute” showcase at INTAR Theater. She is very excited and thankful to be part of FringeNYC.
DANNY MITAROTONDO (Playwright, Producer): is a playwright, director and co-Artistic Director of The Common Tongue. Danny’s plays have been produced at venues across Manhattan and at the Williamstown Theater Festival. As a director he has worked with John Shea, Angelica Torn, members of The Actors Studio, LAByrinth, and is currently collaborating with Edward Albee on Albee’s All Over, most recently presented at the Linda Gross Theater with Marian Seldes and Kathleen Butler. Danny is an MFA playwriting candidate at Columbia University, holds a BA from NYU Gallatin, is a graduate of the Atlantic Theater Company’s Professional Conservatory, is an Assistant Teacher of Catherine Fitzmaurice’s Voicework ® and is the recent recipient of an Edward F. Albee Writing Fellowship.
JENNA WORSHAM (Director): Jenna recently assistant directed the world premiere of Lucy Thurber’s The Insurgents this summer at the Contemporary American Theatre Festival (dir. Lear deBessonet). In May she directed Daniel by Julissa Contreras at Intar Theatre as part of the annual Irene Fornes New Play Festival. This past winter she directed the world premiere of Lucy Thurber’s Named at Rising Phoenix Repertory as part of their Cino Nights series. Other NY theatre credits: The Nebraska Dispatches (Christopher Cartmill) at the Jerry H. Labowitz Theater; Thurber’s Bottom of the World at the Atlantic Theater Company (assistant director); The Game (Contreras) at the Rattlestick Theater (part of Theatrejam 2010). For the past two years Jenna has served as a director for MCC Theatre’s summer Freshplay Festival. A recent graduate of Washington & Lee University, she directed Eugene O’Neill’s Ah, Wilderness! as well as The Fantasticks at Lime Kiln Theater in Lexington, Virginia. She is currently a member of Intar Theatre’s Young Artist Lab.
ALONA FOGEL (Producer): Theatre includes: Fair Harvard (CSC), Coney Island Avenue (NYTW), La Femme est Morte or Why I Should Not F*!# my Son (PS122), Barbarians (Shapiro Theatre), Camino Real (Riverside Church), Waiting for Lefty (Shapiro Theatre), Romeo & Juliet (CSC) and Taming of the Shrew (CSC). Alona was part of the inaugural T.S. Elliot US/UK Exchange in conjunction with The Old Vic in London. She is currently in her third year at Columbia University getting her MFA in theatre production and management. Most recently she interned at Boneau/Bryan-Brown where she is worked on The Book of Mormon, That Championship Season and John Leguizamo’s Ghetto Klown.
JAY JASKI (Dramaturg): specializes in new play development and new works for the American musical theatre. Past collaborations include: Richard Rodgers Award; Tony Award-winning director/lyricist, Richard Maltby, Jr.; O’Neill Theater Center. Directing: Sondheim, Bernstein, and Gershwin concerts in Chicago’s Millennium Park, where Jay directed such Tony-winning and -nominated actors as Judy Kaye, Brian d’Arcy James, and Marin Mazzie. Producing: Broadway’s Children and Art, Sondheim in the Park and Take Flight (Menier Chocolate Factory, McCarter). Acting: Broadway/New York: Children and Art, 9 to 5 (workshop/demo), Death Takes a Holiday (Roundabout), Public Theater. Jay holds a BM in Music Theatre Performance from Florida State University and is an MFA Candidate in Dramaturgy & Script Development at Columbia University.

DANIEL KRAUSE (Set Designer): is excited for his second season of FringeNYC. Last year he designed Venus and Mona. Previous work includes Losing the Shore for BCKSEET Productions, The Little Mermaid and 101 Dalmations for Riverdale Children’s Theater, A Christmas Carol for Village Productions and many others. Daniel has also been the associate designer on Project:LOHAN (La Mama), Chicago (Flat Rock Playhouse), The Judy Show (DR2), and assisted on 21st Century Liederabend (The Kitchen).
