Hello prospective audience member! I’m Sarah, and have been a member of The Common Tongue since its embryonic stages as a group of students at Atlantic Theater Company. Having been closely involved with TCT’s development from its Original Works Nights to its many incarnations of the All Over project, it gives me great Momma-Hen pride to observe the company reaching a new milestone with this production. I am so excited and very lucky to once again be able to do one of my favorite things (perform) with some of my favorite people (TCT).
Following are just a smattering of the myriad reasons why one (perhaps even you) might want to come see CONNECT FIVE:
*To see exciting work from young, up-and-coming playwrights, actors and directors.
*BRAND NEW work by two incredibly talented established playwrights.
*Passion. Drama. Making out.
*The helicopter totally lands ONstage you guys! Oh wait…wrong show.
*To listen for the words “bloop” and “orgy” in the same play.
*Maybe you love Concerned Wizards or pretty girls who can’t stop fucking with people. Your needs will be met here.
*To support new, creative, independent theatre.
Whatever your reasons or inclinations, I hope you’ll come join us and be our fifth. At CONNECT FIVE (it’s like you’d be the title character! Whoa.).
